Add a Book Now button to your website or Instagram bio

You already have a website and a bio link. Paste one line of code, or drop in your booking link, and turn the visitors you already get into booked appointments, with no plugin and no commission.

Most service businesses do not have a traffic problem. They have a turning-visitors-into-bookings problem. People already find you, on your website, on your Instagram, on a Google listing, then leave to send a DM that you answer hours later, by which time the moment has passed. The fix is to let them book on the spot, wherever they already are.

On your own website: one line of code

Open Marketing, then Website button. Set the label and colour, copy the snippet, and paste it into your site: an Embed or Code block in Squarespace, an Embed HTML element in Wix, a Custom HTML block in WordPress, or a Custom Liquid section in Shopify. Publish, and a styled Book Now button appears that opens your booking page.

Whichever site or phone your visitor is on, the button takes them straight to your booking page.

The button is a real link, not a scripted pop-up. That matters more than it sounds: pop-up windows are silently blocked inside the in-app browsers that Instagram, Facebook and TikTok use, so a lot of social traffic taps a booking pop-up and nothing happens. A plain link is handled by the browser itself, so it opens every time, supports tap, long-press and open-in-new-tab, and is never blocked.

If your storefront is your Instagram, you do not need a site at all. Copy your booking link and put it in your profile bio (or in a link-in-bio tool), and add it to your TikTok, Facebook and Google Business Profile. A clear "Book now" call to action against that link does the same job as the button: it removes the DM step entirely.

Why this beats DMs and third-party marketplaces

  • It is instant. A client books while they are looking at your work, not three hours later when you reply.
  • It is yours. The booking, the client's details and the deposit go to your account, not a marketplace that rents your own clients back to you.
  • It carries your no-show protection. The same deposits and reminders that protect your calendar apply to a booking made from your bio.
  • It costs nothing per booking. There is no per-cover or per-appointment commission skimmed off the top.

One small thing to know: a site builder's draft or preview mode sometimes runs your page inside a locked-down frame that blocks any outbound link, including this one. That is the preview sandbox, not the button. Always check it on the published, live page, where it works as expected.

You have already done the hard part of getting people to look. Give them a button, and let the ones who are ready book themselves in.
