Recurring and standing appointments
Lock in a client's next visits at a set rhythm, all from one booking.
What it is
A way to book a client in for the same service over and over at a set rhythm, like every 4 weeks. From any of their bookings you choose how often they come back and how many visits to lock in, and the app books the whole run at the same time of day. Each visit is a normal confirmed booking, so the client gets a confirmation and the usual reminders before each date.
Why it helps
Clients who leave with their next visits already booked come back far more often, so your column stays full weeks ahead. It is owner-booked only and never charges anything: no deposits, no card on file, just confirmed appointments. Like every Bookatu feature, it is on your plan at no extra cost.
How to use it
- 1Open Today, Calendar and click one of the client's bookings. It can be an upcoming or a just-finished visit.
- 2Find the 'See you again?' card and pick how often: Weekly, Fortnightly, Every 4 weeks, Every 6 weeks, or Custom for your own number of weeks.
- 3Pick how many visits to lock in, from 2 up to 12.
- 4Tap the 'Book the visits' button. Every visit is booked at the same time of day as this one, starting one interval after it.
- 5Check the result list. Any date that clashed with an existing booking is marked as a clash and skipped, so you can rebook just those from a free slot.
- 6To add a single visit instead of a whole run, open a finished booking and use the 'Book a one-off next visit' card to start the next one in 4, 6, or 8 weeks.
