Your subscription and billing

The free trial, how plans are priced, SMS, annual billing and how to cancel.

What it is

Bookatu starts with a 90-day free trial. After that you move onto a paid plan, priced by how many active clients you have each month rather than by staff or features. An active client is someone who booked or visited you in the last 90 days, so quiet contacts on your list never count. See the pricing page for each plan's price and the active-client range it covers. Bookatu never takes a commission on your bookings.

Why it helps

You only pay in line with how busy you are, and adding your whole team costs nothing extra. No surprise fees, and no cut of your takings.

How to use it

  1. 1Try everything free for 90 days.
  2. 2When you are ready, pick the plan that covers your number of active clients on the pricing page. Pay yearly instead of monthly and you get two months free.
  3. 3Text (SMS) reminders are included on the Studio, Pro and Scale plans, and available as a low-cost add-on on Solo (see SMS text reminders and the Solo SMS add-on).
  4. 4If your trial ends before you subscribe, there is a short grace period where everything keeps working, before your public booking page switches to read-only. Subscribe in that window and you carry on without missing a booking.
  5. 5Manage your plan, card and invoices from the billing area in Settings, which opens your secure billing portal. Change plan or cancel any time, and you can always export your data.
