How do I add Bookatu to my AI assistant?

   In your assistant's settings, find where to add a custom connector by its web address.

   Paste https://bookatu.com/api/mcp/book as the server address. It needs no key and no sign-in. The server calls itself Bookatu Booking, and if your assistant asks you to name it, any name you will recognise is fine.

   Your assistant may ask you before each step it takes with Bookatu. Allow it when it does.

How do I book a time with my AI assistant?

Give your assistant the business's booking link, and say which service and which day suit you. Bookatu gives it each free time on the business's clock, and on yours when you are somewhere else. You pick one, and your assistant passes on your name and email, and a phone number if you give one.

How do I confirm a time my AI assistant held?

Give the code from Bookatu's email to your assistant, or open the link in the email and press "Confirm booking". Opening the link books nothing by itself. A held time lasts only a short while, so confirm soon. Then the business's usual confirmation follows. If the business accepts bookings by hand, your booking reaches it as a request, and you get an email when it answers.

What if the business does not take bookings from AI assistants?

Bookatu tells your assistant, and gives it the business's booking page link to pass on. The same happens for a service that needs more than a time, such as a deposit or a form, which you book on the business's booking page.

What does my AI assistant share, and how do I know an email is from Bookatu?

• Your assistant gets what the business's public booking page shows, without its street address. Bookatu takes your name and email from it, and a phone number if you give one.
• When you confirm, the business gets your name and email, as it would from its booking page.
• Bookatu never asks you to pay inside a chat. If a chat asks you for money for a booking, the request did not come from Bookatu.
• If you did not ask for a time, press "This wasn't me" on the page the email links to. If you pressed it by mistake, "Allow assistants again" on the same page lets these emails reach you again.

Bookatu's emails about the held time, and the page you confirm on, are in your language when your assistant tells Bookatu which one, in any of the 14 languages Bookatu speaks. The business's own confirmation and reminders come in its language, and service names stay as the business wrote them.
