Add a trainee who only sees the checklist

What it is

Trainee is a login type for juniors and apprentices. When they sign in they see only the team checklist, so they can tick off their jobs on their phone. They cannot see your calendar, your clients, your money or any settings.

Why it helps

It is the safe way to bring a new starter onto the team. They get exactly what they need to do their work well, and none of the private parts of your business. You still see who did what on the checklist.

How to use it

1. 1Open Team under Settings, then add a member by their email and choose the Trainee role.
2. 2Share their sign-in details. When they log in they land straight on the checklist and cannot reach anything else.
3. 3They tick tasks on their phone as they work. Their name shows against each tick in your Today view.
4. 4To give them more access later, change their role to Staff or Admin from the same Team page.
