Get booked from Google, Instagram and Maps

What it is

Get booked on Google and social gives you a booking link for each of Google, Instagram, Facebook, Apple Maps and Bing. Each link opens your booking page with a tag on the end, such as via=google, so the booking is labelled with where the client came from. This does not put booking inside Google itself: Bookatu is not one of Google's booking providers, so the link sends clients to your own booking page.

Why it helps

Clients can book from wherever they found you, without hunting for your number. Because every link carries its own tag, you can see which place actually brings in bookings and spend your time there.

How to use it

1. 1Open Grow, then Google & social. Owners and admins can open it. If your booking page is not live yet, or online booking is paused, the page warns you, because until then the links do not open your booking page.
2. 2Each channel has its own card with your link and a copy button. The Instagram and Facebook cards also show a QR code: scan it with the phone you run those apps on, then copy the link there.
3. 3Follow How to add it on each card. Google: Edit profile, then Contact, then Appointment links. Instagram: Edit profile, then Links, then Add external link (the Book now action button only works with Instagram's own partners). Facebook: Add action button, then Book now, linked to your website. Apple Maps: in Apple Business Connect, open Locations and select Add next to Actions. Bing: your business details in Bing Places for Business.
4. 4Google and Bing can take a few days to show a new link. Apple checks every action first, which can take up to three business days.
5. 5A booking made through a link shows Came via with the channel, such as Google or Apple Maps. In Reports, under Where bookings come from, Online bookings from your Google and social links gives the totals per channel, with Download these as a CSV. Build a report can also break bookings down by Booking link.
6. 6If your role can see reports, each card also shows how many bookings that link brought in the last 90 days. Only appointments clients book online are counted. Class places are not labelled.
