Automations that run your admin for you

What it is

Bookatu can send the routine messages a salon lives on (appointment reminders, thank-yous, review requests, win-back offers and birthday treats) and quietly offer freed-up slots to your waitlist. They run in the background once switched on, using wording you can change to sound like you.

Why it helps

It is the admin you would never find time to do by hand, done for you every day. That means fewer no-shows, more Google reviews, and lapsed regulars coming back instead of drifting to someone else.

How to use it

1. 1Open Settings and tap then Messaging & retention. Switch on the messages you want: appointment reminders, a thank-you after each visit, win-back offers and birthday treats. Most are on by default.
2. 2Set the timings: how many hours before a booking to remind, and how many days of silence trigger the first and second win-back. Reword the win-back and birthday messages in your own voice, then Save.
3. 3Optional: turn on Also send reminders by text (SMS) if you want texts as well as email. SMS is a paid channel, so it follows your plan's allowance and only goes to clients who opted in.
4. 4To send review requests automatically, go to Grow, Reviews and paste your Google review link. After a completed visit, happy clients are pointed to Google while unhappy feedback stays private for you to fix.
5. 5To let cancellations refill themselves, open Settings, tap What clients see and switch on Waitlist. When a spot opens, the best-matched waiting clients get a one-tap 'claim this spot' offer, and the first to claim gets it.
