Why my booking page is not live yet
Publishing needs Stripe connected. Here is what that means and how to finish it.
What it is
Your booking page stays private until your Stripe account can take charges. Until then anyone who opens your link sees a short 'coming soon' message instead of your services, and the Publish button in Settings will not turn it on.
Why it helps
Almost everyone who gets stuck here has already been to Stripe once. Stripe asks for a few details in stages, and it is easy to reach the end of one stage, close the tab, and assume that was it. Knowing that is usually all it takes to finish in a couple of minutes.
How to use it
- 1Open Settings and look at the Booking page section. If it says 'Connect Stripe to publish your page', you have not started yet. If it says 'Finish your Stripe setup to publish', you started and there are still a few details to give.
- 2Press the button in that panel. It takes you to Stripe and picks up exactly where you left off, so nothing you have already entered is asked for twice.
- 3Stripe usually wants three things: who you are (a photo ID or a few personal details), what the business is, and a bank account to pay you into. The bank account is the step people most often stop at, and Stripe cannot switch charges on without it.
- 4Come back to Settings when Stripe says you are done. The Publish button turns on, and pressing it puts your page live at once.
- 5If Stripe says everything is complete but Settings still asks you to finish, tell us. That is our problem to fix, not yours, and it is worth reporting rather than trying again.
