Local discovery hubs (your city and service pages)

What it is

Shared public pages on Bookatu at /discover/{city} and /discover/{city}/{service} that list real, bookable businesses by town and by service. Each hub has the right structured data and is in the sitemap, so a search like 'haircut in your town' can surface a list of businesses people can book straight away, with yours among them.

Why it helps

It is extra exposure to new clients who are searching for a service in their area but do not yet know your name. There is no commission and no paid placement, so being listed costs you nothing and never takes a cut of your bookings.

How to use it

1. 1Open Settings, tap Business details and set your City or town accurately. This is what groups you onto the right city hub.
2. 2Optionally set your Region (your wider area or state) so you also appear in broader local results.
3. 3Complete your services so you show on the matching service hub, for example the haircuts or massage page for your town.
4. 4Keep your profile, photos and reviews current so you stand out in the list against other businesses.
5. 5A hub page only appears once at least one real business is listed for it, so there are no thin or empty pages. Being listed is free, not a paid ad. This is being listed on Bookatu's hubs, which is different from connecting your own domain to your storefront.
