Your business profile, website and social links

What it is

The profile fields under Settings → Business details that describe your business and tie your booking page to the rest of your online presence. The smart Website field is where you type your main domain (for example yoursalon.co.nz). Below it, a Website & social section lets you add your Instagram, TikTok and Facebook just by typing your @handle, plus an 'Add another link' button for extra websites and other media like YouTube, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or any other labelled link. Bookatu shows each one you fill in on your storefront contact card with the right icon, and leaves out the ones you skip. The same screen holds your City or town and Region.

Why it helps

Clients can jump straight from your booking page to your website and the social profiles where you post your work, so the page that takes bookings also sends people to follow you. Your City and Region help you appear in the right local hub, and a complete profile helps you get found. You only fill in what you have, and only those links show.

How to use it

1. 1Open Settings and tap Business details.
2. 2Type your main website domain in the Website field (just the domain, like yoursalon.co.nz), or leave it blank. Bookatu cleans it into a readable 'Visit our website' link for you.
3. 3In the Website & social section, type your Instagram, TikTok or Facebook. You can paste the full link, but you do not have to. Just typing your @handle is enough, and Bookatu turns it into the right link with the right icon.
4. 4Use 'Add another link' to add an extra website or other media such as YouTube, X, LinkedIn or WhatsApp. Pick the type, type the handle or link, and give it a short label if it is an 'other' link.
5. 5Leave out anything you do not have. Only the links you fill in appear on your booking page, each with its own icon.
6. 6Set your City or town and your Region so you are grouped into the right local results.
7. 7Save, then use View site to check the contact card shows your website and social links.
8. 8Note: this links out to websites and profiles you already have, with the icon for each. It does not point or connect your own domain at your Bookatu storefront, so do not expect a custom-domain setup here.
