Connect Claude, or any other app that works with MCP servers, to your Bookatu account. Ask in plain words: it finds free times, moves bookings, adds services, records deliveries and drafts campaigns, never more than you allow.
Every tool is on the developer docs with its arguments. Here they are by the job they do.
Services and open times, bookings and moves, visits of several services, booking requests, deposit links, clients and the team.

Bookatu works out every booking in real minutes, never by clock-face sums. An assistant sends a time with its offset, or on your clock, and a time with no offset is refused. On the days the clocks change, a time that doesn't exist is never offered, and one that happens twice is never guessed.
Tell Bookatu which city your client is in, and the booking keeps both clocks: their emails show theirs too. A morning slot in Auckland, for a client in Toronto:
Clocks go back in Toronto on Sunday, November 1; times after that are EST.
On Sunday, October 25 the clocks in London go back, so 1:30 AM happens twice. Asked for it, Bookatu answers TIME_AMBIGUOUS with both times, and the assistant asks which one you meant:
On Sunday, September 27 the clocks in Auckland go forward, so 2:30 AM never happens. Asked for it, Bookatu answers TIME_DOES_NOT_EXIST and the next time that does:
Sunday, September 27 at 3:00 AM GMT+13
Two bookings for the same person at overlapping times can't both go through: each one takes that person's lock and checks the diary again before it is saved.
Built the way Shopify built its AI tools: an MCP server you connect by signing in, with scoped permissions.
The same server, documented in full and discoverable by machines.
Claude, as a custom connector, and any other app that can connect to a remote MCP server by signing in or with an API key. We have not tested ChatGPT's developer mode yet.
Only what the connection allows, and never more than the person who approved it can do. An API key gets only the scopes you tick. What it reads, including client names and contact details when it may see clients, goes to the AI provider you use, under that provider's terms. Clients' intake form answers never leave your dashboard.
No. No tool deletes anything, and campaigns can only be saved as drafts for you to send from your dashboard. With Read and write it can cancel a booking, and the client is told.
Connecting needs the AI and Developer API add-on, US$19 a month, included on Scale. Every plan is free for 90 days first.
Times go in with their offset, or on your business's clock, and a time with no offset is refused. A time the clocks skip or repeat is refused with the choices, and on the days the clocks change Bookatu never offers a time that doesn't exist, so nothing is booked at the wrong hour.
Not yet. Today a connection is for you and your team, to run your business.
